Design Features

High efficiency fan modules are optimized for performance within tight packaging constraints. We have applications for both suction and pusher type electric fans and single/dual blades based on platform and rigid shroud configuration with integrated attachment features based on customer packaging needs. PWM controllers are available to meet customer requirements. Full dynamic balancing is available to meet vibration and noise requirements. Our products hold long-standing relationships with select motor suppliers that exhibit excellent quality records.

Material & Process Features

Fan and shroud are available in several grades of nylon and polypropylene based on application and customer requirements. Our Electric Fan Modules are made with in-house molding of fans and shrouds, die repair shop, and engineering onsite. Several levels of motor coatings are available depending on corrosion resistance requirements

Size

Fans are up to 400mm in diameter for applications ranging from small cars to light duty trucks. Motors are available in flat and cylinder types with various motor output sizes and speeds depending on specific application.

Testing

We have complete in-house prototype capabilities. Other in-house testing includes FEA capability to optimize product from the earliest stages of development and cully capable laboratories to validate all aspects of performance and durability. Annual competitive benchmarking ensures Calsonic Kansei remains a leader of industry trends.
