Vice President of Plastics Division for Calsonic Kansei North America
Chris Bradford is the Vice President of the Plastics division for Calsonic Kansei Americas and was recently responsible Quality and the start-up of Operations for the CK Brazil Manufacturing Facility and has been with the CK organization for over 20 years.
After receiving his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Tech University in 1991 he returned to School in 2011 to receive his MBA from the University of Tennessee Knoxville as a part of their Executive MBA program.
Chris worked for a Custom Automated Machine Maker prior to joining Kantus Corp. (Currently the CKNA Lewisburg Facility) in May of 1992 as a Foaming Engineer he was promoted to Engineering Manager in 1998 and was involved in the transition from Plastic Molding operations to the incorporation of the Modular Assembly operations inside NNA facilities. In 2005, he was promoted to Director of Plastics Engineering and CKNA New Product Launch activities and became responsible to coordinate the schedule and delivery for all CKNA commodities to include Electronics, Exhaust, Thermal, Plastics and HVAC. This expanded scope lead to his promotion to Vice President of Production Engineering in 2008.
It was during his tenure as VP Production Engineering that Chris volunteered to enter into the University of Tennessee Executive MBA program and lead a Project to determine Compressor Production feasibility for CKNA to support the Brazil market. Based upon this experience he asked to be assigned to lead the development of CK Brazil Operations while also VP of Quality. Chris has just been appointed as the VP of the Plastics Division in CKNA.
